More questions than answers

Sometimes life throws up more questions than answers.
But often we would prefer that feeling of closure,
   that sense of control,
when we know all the answers.

Life isn't like that though, life has ambiguity, discovery, mystery.

We're not supposed to understand everything, but we should understand why we're here.
We're not supposed to know everything, but we should know fulfilment, satisfaction, and joy.

That's one of the reasons I love the Bible. People might say it has all the answers, but it doesn't. What it does have are all the answers we need.

When I preached on 1 Peter 4:12-19 a few weeks ago it probably raised more questions than it answered, but I'm ok with that...
as long as I answer the questions that really matter.

Have a listen and see for yourself:

Sometimes,
most of the time,
all of the time...
you have to embrace the mystery and run with what you know.

Life has more questions than answers,
seek the answers that matter and enjoy the freedom of not knowing everything.
